Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 2026-05-02

Some pages on Vid2MP3 — primarily comparison pieces and "best of" lists — include affiliate links to third-party software (paid converters, audio editors, transcription tools). When you click one of these links and subsequently buy the product, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

How this affects what we recommend

It doesn't. Our rankings are determined by the scoring methodology described on our methodology page. We do not accept payment, sponsored placement, or kickback from any tool in exchange for ranking it more highly. If a tool that pays no commission scores best, it's ranked first; if a tool that pays a high commission scores poorly, it's ranked last (or removed entirely).

Where you'll see them

Affiliate links appear on:

  • Our comparison and best-of pieces (clearly labelled).
  • Some how-to guides where a paid third-party tool is genuinely the best fit for a specific use case.

They never appear in the converter UI itself, in the legality pages, or in pure educational reference content (formats, codecs, bitrate explainers).

How to spot them

Affiliate links open in a new tab and are tagged with rel="sponsored"per Google's recommendation. Pages that contain affiliate links carry a visible disclosure block at the top.

Other monetisation

Editorial pages may also display third-party advertising via standard ad networks. Ads are kept out of the converter UI itself.
